Boca Raton, FL. DataMax System Solutions, a leading provider of in-store technology solutions to the retail industry, announced that Hoyts Cinemas Corporation has selected RTS, a centralized payment processing software application.

Hoyts Cinemas Corporation, a leading theater exhibitor in the Northeast United States, is a division of Hoyts Cinemas Ltd. based in Sydney, Australia. In addition to its U.S. operations, Hoyts Cinemas Ltd. is the leading exhibitor in Australia and New Zealand and has significant operations in Mexico and South America.

RTS, a multi-purpose electronic payment-processing software application, is currently being installed in over 60 Hoyts Cinemas locations in the Northeast. The software is NT-based and designed to provide payment authorization, enterprise data delivery, and real-time messaging from remote locations, over any existing communication infrastructure.

"The software was installed and operational very quickly. Our solution was designed to allow movement of data through existing communication infrastructure, utilizing Hoyts' existing POS hardware and software platforms," said Elliott Wallace, president and CEO of DataMax System Solutions.

Additionally, as part of the agreement with Hoyts Cinemas, DataMax is also interfacing the Hoyts Cinemas to MovieTickets.com to provide on-line movie ticketing.
